1. Do you think Japan should give more students options to study more languages (other than English) in Junior and Senior High School?

I don't think so, because I think English is the most important foreign language. Moreover, most Japanese students can't master English, and I guess it is hard to master English for Japanese. I think it is enough to leran English in Junior and Senior High School. I think if you want to learn another language, you can learn it onself.

I think we start study English from 11-12 years old is good idea, but maybe it is not good for teachers. Especially, it is difficult for teachers who aged around 50 to teach English. When I went to Britain, I felt Japanese are so shy, moreover most Japanese can't speak English fluently. However we seldom speak English in Japan. I guess Japanese government emphasize the English grammar. I think we need communication ability. Last year, I met Hong Kong girls she speak English fluently, then I felt Japanese should start study English earlier. If we have more time to speak English, our speaking would be better.

Class#13 Reflection class

Don't you wish that all men could read minds and really understand women?

"What women want" was funny movie. I really enjoyed it.
I think it is really hard to read women's mind, also it is hard to read men's mind. Especially It is hard to men, because women's mind is changeful. In my opinion, women are more sensitive than men, so it is easy to read their mind, and I think men's mind is simple.
My favorite seanse in this movie are he wore bra, he removed his hair. It was really funny. Someday, I want to see whole of this movie.

Class#11 Men and Women

Do you agree or disagree with the author (who is Japanese). Please explain why in your blog.

I agree with her. When I saw this article, I was littele surprised, because most my boyfriends interested in love or girls. However I found middle aged men have different idea of love. As the author said, men have to buy them gifts and that would cost money. I think it is true. If men didn't buy girlfriend a gift, she may get angry. I think Love is sometimes troublesome, but to make family is nice and happy.

Yes, I have.

What did you eat?
I ate fish and chips. Fish and chips is British traditional food.

Did you make any mistakes?Please explain your experience.
I didn't make big mistakes, because we have many kinds of restrants, so we are used to use knife and fork.
I was surprised because we can drink alcohol from 18 years old.

Did you learn anything?
Yes, I did. In Japan, usually waiter bring a glass of water to us. However, they never bring a glass of water. If I want to drink water, I have to buy mineral water. Then, I feel Japan has kindness.

Do you think this is a true story?
I think it is a true story. I thought it was a difficult case, because her family is very strict about religion. I thought it was a nice movie, because the movie has a happy ending.

Can this really happen in today's modern times?
Yes, I think so. I think I am irreligion, but I think religion is imporrtant. Especially, when they marry someone who has different rerigion. Nowdays, many people get mixed marriage. I thought some mixed marriage make big problem about religion.

Class#8 Weddings

1.Since Japanese weddings are expensive, do you think having a massive wedding like Korea or is a good idea?

I think massive wedding is a good idea. But, to be honest I don't want to have a massive wedding. If I don't have enough money to have a wedding, I want to have wedding only us at a low price.



2. What do you think about eloping? Having a wedding in a foreign location like Hawaii?

I think it is OK. Eloping is not reallybad thing. I think having wedding in a foreign location like Hawaii is really nice! But, It costs too much money.

3.What is your ideal wedding?
I want to having my wedding at a nice lovely chapel in Hawaii. The capel is located near the beautiful sea. This is a my ideal wedding.



4.What would you definitely do, wear or go to on that big day? Why is that important?

I'm not sure. But, maybe I will get up early and go to hair salon to arranged my hair. And I will wear nice dress. I think It is etiquette, so It is important.

No, I haven't. But I had seen foreigner's wedding just a little. When I see it, I thought we don't have much big differences between our wedding and foreighner's wedding. Someday Iwant to go to foreighner's wedding.

Yes! I think to leearn about superstitions is important and interesting. Because there are many funny or unbelievable superstitions in the world. When I go to foreign country it will

be useful.

Yes, I think so. Because, we sometimes use superstitions in conversation. I sometimes use"One loss brings another (二度あることは三度ある)" Occasionally, superstitions make our conversation nice.

Honestly, I don't believe in superstitions. But, I cherish superstitions. For example"If you leave rice, your eyes are squashed"tells ue that do not waste food. Sometimes some superstitions make our conversation happily as a joke. And, another time superstitions tell us moral.
